    New Delhi: OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones in the Indian market. Both smartphones were introduced during the ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ event hosted on Tuesday in India and globally. The Chinese smartphone maker released the OnePlus 12 series shortly after unveiling another Android flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. OnePlus promises software updates for the OnePlus 12 for four years.

    The pre-orders commenced on January 23. The company is providing enticing offers for pre-orders, including a Rs 10,000 trade-in bonus, a Rs 2,000 instant discount, EMI options, and a Rs 2,500 JioPlus Postpaid offer. OnePlus asserts that customers who order the OnePlus 12R in the first 12 hours will receive the Buds Z2 for free.

  • Samsung Galaxy M12 may be launched soon

    Smartphone maker Samsung has revealed reports of its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy M12 being viewed on Thailand’s NBTC certification website. However, no specifications of the Galaxy M12 coming from this website have been revealed yet. Even before this, the phone has been seen on many certification websites. These include the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The phone has also been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking website.

    Photos of the handset were also revealed last month. This Samsung phone is expected to be launched in the budget category. According to a report by rootmygalaxy, Samsung Galaxy M12, a smartphone with model number SM-M127F / DS, has received a certificate from Thailand’s NBTC. The specifications of the smartphone have not been revealed from this listing. But on other websites, the first phone has been listed, from which its specifications were received.

    A phone with the same model number was recently spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. This listing revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M12 will have an Exynos 850 processor, up to 3GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. At the same time, Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance website listings were reported to have features like Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It is believed that the model number SM-M127G / DS with BIS certification will be another variant of Samsung Galaxy M12. I

    Earlier in November, the phone was reported to have a 6000mAh battery in the US FCC website listing. Photos of the back panel of the alleged Galaxy M12 smartphone were also leaked, which revealed the quad camera setup on the rear in the phone. The phone was spotted on this site with the model code EB-BM207ABY.

  • OnePlus working on its smartwatch and on Wear OS with Google, confirms CEO

    A couple of months ago, OnePlus teased its attempt at doing a smartwatch back when it was still a fairly new entity in the smartphone market. While the post hinted at a new OnePlus Watch from the company, those claims were soon dismissed. However, in a fresh report, the company’s CEO has now clarified that it is still working on its smartwatch.     The CEO Pete Lau confirmed the above two developments to The Input in an interview, hinting that a OnePlus Watch could be on the cards for a possible launch in 2021. Lau shared no release date or specifications on the Watch, which again hints towards a launch that’s not happening anytime soon.     Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K with a 55-inch QLED Ultra-HD screen was launched in India on Wednesday, priced at Rs. 54,999. The Android TV and PatchWall-powered Mi QLED TV 4K is the company’s first QLED TV in India, and is also its most premium television series yet, offering a step up over the existing LED TV range. The new television has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, and is available in only a single 55-inch size option, with support for HDR up to the Dolby Vision format.


    Priced at Rs. 54,999, the Mi QLED TV 4K is the most expensive 55-inch television currently on offer from Xiaomi in India. Available in only a single 55-inch size option for now, the Mi QLED TV 4K goes up against QLED TV options from brands such as OnePlus and TCL, which are similarly priced at around or under the Rs. 60,000 mark. At this price, Xiaomi is offering similar specifications and features at a similar or lower price to options such as the OnePlus TV Q1 and TCL 55C715 (Review).

    The Mi QLED TV 4K will go on sale in India on December 21, at 12pm (noon) IST, via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail stores including Vijay Sales.

    Vivo V20 Pro 5G’s expected price in India was recently revealed by key retailers in the country. The Vivo phone is listed on the website of retailers such as Reliance Digital, Poorvika Mobile, and Sangeetha Mobiles with a price tag of Rs. 29,990 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Customers can also pre-book the phone through its online listings by paying an advance amount of Rs. 2,000. Vivo V20 Pro 5G has also been listed for registrations on Flipkart.

    The Vivo V20 Pro 5G features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The phone runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. There is also 128GB of internal storage.

    In terms of optics, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with an f/1.89 lens. It also has an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The phone has a dual selfie camera, featuring a 44-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It also comes preloaded with a list of camera-focussed features such as Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Super Night Mode, and Motion Autofocus.

The smartphone may feature a triple rear camera system that includes a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP front-facing camera. Lastly, the phone is expected to measure 161.96×77.25×9.20mm and weigh 200 grams. There is no word on the battery and storage details of the Redmi Note 9 5G.

    Samsung has announced the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s. The new Galaxy A-series smartphones come with budget specifications and are set to go on sale in 2021. Samsung Galaxy A12 is a successor to the Galaxy A11, which was launched earlier this year.

    Samsung has launched the Galaxy A12 with 3GB /4GB /6GB RAM and 32GB /64GB /128GB storage. The 64GB storage variant is priced at EUR 179 (approximately Rs 15,700), and the 128GB option will be available for EUR 199 (roughly Rs 17,500).

    Galaxy A02s has been launched in a single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration priced at EUR 150 (approximately Rs 13,200).

    Galaxy A12 comes with a 6.5-inch TFT display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels. The smartphone’s Infinity-V display features a tiny waterdrop notch for the 8MP front camera.

    Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy A12 features an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It was previously rumoured that the device will come with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The performance unit also includes 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB internal memory. You can expand the storage using a microSD card up to 1TB.

    Connectivity options include Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

    Samsung Galaxy A02s comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display with a water-drop notch for the 5MP f/2.2 front camera. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary lens. There is also a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

    POCO M3 launch is set for November 24th in Europe and we have already heard a lot about the smartphone courtesy a render from 91mobiles and leaked specifications. Now, the company has taken it upon themselves to officially confirm a few details about the device, including the display, battery, and chipset. POCO M3 specifications include the Snapdragon 662 processor, a large 6,000mAh battery, and a 6.53-inch display. POCO has also revealed the design, which is in line with our render. The smartphone will debut with a waterdrop notch and a textured rear panel with a rather large and unique rectangular block that houses a triple-camera setup with LED flash and POCO branding. All eyes are now on POCO M3 price, which will be announced during the launch event tomorrow.

    POCO M3 will sport a near bezel-less 6.53-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch atop for the selfie camera. The Snapdragon 662 SoC under the hood is likely to be paired with at least 4GB RAM, while the 6,000mAh battery will reportedly be backed by 18W fast charging support. Software-wise, the POCO M3 may run Android 10-based MIUI 12 with the POCO Launcher out of the box. In optics, the POCO M3 will employ triple rear cameras, comprising a 48MP primary sensor. Details about the remaining camera sensors and storage options remain a mystery at the moment.
