The UP Board results for High School and Intermediate, released Thursday, paint a picture of female dominance in academics. Sitapur’s Shikha Verma emerged as the undisputed state topper in Class 12, her score setting a benchmark for peers.

‘I owe it all to my parents, teachers, and school management,’ Shikha beamed, her accomplishment resonating far beyond her hometown. This victory adds to the narrative of empowered girls rewriting success stories in Uttar Pradesh.

Raebareli’s Nandini Gupta topped her district in Intermediate with 469 marks (93.80%). ‘I expected more, but I’m district first and overjoyed,’ she said, expressing gratitude to her mentors and family. Her next goal? Cracking the SSC.

Barabanki celebrated Anshika Verma’s 97.8% in Class 12, securing her third place statewide. On the High School front, Ayodhya’s Aaradhya Jaiswal made the top-10 with 96.33%, set on law studies. Prachi Pandey’s 96.2% and Kashish Verma’s 97.83% from Sitapur further boosted the girls’ tally.

Across districts, the results reveal a consistent pattern of girls leading the merit lists. Educators point to focused preparation and family backing as key factors. This year’s outcomes not only boost pass percentages but also ignite aspirations for higher education and competitive exams.
