In a spirited defense of national progress, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC described the recent India-US trade pact as a ‘huge win’ for India. Speaking to media in Mumbai, she congratulated PM Modi for securing terms that favor Indian exports, imports, and manufacturing under ‘Make in India’.
‘Modi ji’s faith in negotiation has paid off big time,’ Shaina NC remarked. She expressed optimism for future deals that will elevate India’s global trade stature, benefiting industries and job creation across the nation.
Shifting gears, she fiercely criticized Shiv Sena (UBT) parliamentarian Arvind Sawant’s derogatory past comment on women. ‘Every woman in politics fights battles; using crude language reveals UBT’s DNA,’ she charged. She contrasted this with Eknath Shinde’s supportive stance via ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme, which empowers and protects women.
‘Such insults are shameful. Mere sorrys aren’t enough—punishment must follow to deter others,’ Shaina NC demanded. She highlighted the ripple effect on society when leaders disrespect women, urging introspection among offenders.
Amid the critique, Shaina NC’s tone lightened as she lauded India’s rising stars. ‘Our 19-year-old girls, women athletes, and cricket team are making waves internationally. This success stems from grit and family support—bravo to them all,’ she enthused.
Reflecting on legacy, she invoked Balasaheb Thackeray’s bond with her family. ‘Balasaheb saw me as his daughter. He’d have slapped sense into Sawant, teaching him Shiv Sena’s real culture of honor,’ she said poignantly. The remarks underscore ongoing factional tensions while celebrating economic and youthful triumphs.
