Koderma, Jharkhand erupted in tension after 25-year-old Archana Kumari was found dead in suspicious conditions at her Nandodi village residence on Wednesday. Married to Santosh Kumar Pandit since 2018, Archana leaves behind two young daughters, as her maternal family accuses the in-laws of cold-blooded murder.
The marriage started on a promising note but soured recently amid reported disputes. Despite interventions by both families, Archana allegedly faced ongoing torment at her marital home. A distress call from her sister-in-law about her illness prompted the maternal kin to rush over, only to discover her corpse beside the bathroom, neck bearing strangulation marks.
‘Clear signs of hanging prove it was murder, not suicide,’ asserted brother Anil Pandit. The husband and relatives vanished post-incident, fueling suspicions. Police swiftly responded, with SHO Vikas Kumar overseeing the scene. The body underwent postmortem to ascertain facts.
As investigations intensify, the family pleads for immediate culprit apprehension. This heartbreaking episode highlights deep-seated marital strife, with authorities vowing thorough inquiry. Community leaders call for awareness against dowry and abuse, hoping for justice to prevail.
