The Lalpur Police in Ranchi have apprehended a man named Danish for allegedly drugging and raping a dental student. The incident took place during a social gathering held to celebrate a birthday at a residential apartment. The victim, an MDS student, reported that she began feeling dizzy almost immediately after eating pizza provided by the accused. Exploiting her incapacitated state, the accused allegedly sexually assaulted her. The victim managed to reach her hostel the following morning and was later admitted to a hospital for medical examination. Authorities have confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged, and the suspect is currently in custody as forensic investigations continue.
