At Rajasthan University’s 35th convocation in Jaipur, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan on Saturday ignited a call to action for India’s youth: step up as entrepreneurs and architects of the nation’s future.

Rajasthan, with its legacy of bravery and cultural depth, embodies the perfect fusion of past glory and forward momentum in Jaipur, the Vice President observed. He lauded the institution for nurturing leaders dedicated to truth, service, and intellectual pursuit over decades.

Addressing the graduates directly, Radhakrishnan celebrated their milestone while framing it as a launchpad for greater impact. Education must drive social progress through creativity, moral grounding, and welfare-oriented applications, he stressed.

Aligning his vision with national goals like self-reliance and development, he motivated students to innovate and generate employment. The Rajasthan government’s youth empowerment initiatives under CM Bhajan Lal Sharma earned special mention for their forward-thinking approach.

Highlighting the rise of women toppers securing most gold medals lately, Radhakrishnan voiced pride and a firm belief: gender parity in opportunities and leadership is non-negotiable for national progress. The women’s reservation bill, he hoped, would transform political landscapes.

Facing global challenges demands sharp critical faculties, principled decisions, and continuous education, he advised. His words resonated: true success pairs brilliance with compassion and modesty.

Further guidance included fostering societal good, valuing diversity, avoiding substance abuse, and leveraging digital platforms positively. Dignitaries present included Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa, MP Radhamohan Das Agarwal, and VC Alpana Kateja.
