Gujarat BJP chief Jagdish Vishkarma rallied workers in Banaskantha’s Palanpur, drawing a vivid contrast between BJP’s grassroots dedication and opposition’s electoral opportunism. He recounted the harrowing violence inflicted on BJP activists in West Bengal and Kerala—ranging from assaults to killings—yet their resolve to fortify the party organization never wavered.
At the ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ organized ahead of local polls, Vishkarma underscored the BJP’s year-round public engagement. ‘While rivals play the election-time game, our karyakartas serve continuously, embedding themselves in community life,’ he said.
Lashing out at Congress, he attributed its decline to a leadership vacuum and policy paralysis. ‘No vision, no strategy, no credible faces—Congress has alienated everyone, including its base,’ he observed.
Vishkarma spotlighted pro-farmer measures: a massive Rs 10,000 crore package for rain-affected growers and Rs 15,000 crore in minimum support price purchases. Direct bank transfers under CM Bhupendra Patel’s administration exemplify efficient, farmer-centric governance.
Shifting to security, he contrasted past inaction with the BJP’s proactive stance. ‘From surgical strikes to air strikes, we’ve shown terrorists that India strikes back hard. Zero tolerance is our doctrine,’ he affirmed.
Cultural revival under PM Modi was another highlight, with projects transforming sacred sites like Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, Kashi Vishwanath, and others into beacons of heritage and development.
In a call to action, Vishkarma exhorted workers: ‘Strengthen the organization at the booth level. Let’s sweep every seat in Banaskantha with unmatched commitment.’ The rally ended on a high note of optimism for BJP’s dominance.
