Muzaffarpur, Bihar witnessed a horrific road accident on Sunday when a car attempting to dodge a biker plowed into a parked truck on NH-27, killing all four occupants instantly. The impact demolished the sedan, turning it into a pile of twisted metal.
According to police, the mishap unfolded in Motipur thana limits near Ratanpur. The truck trailer stood motionless in the primary lane of the four-lane stretch, right in front of Trail Line Hotel. As the car raced towards Muzaffarpur from the city side, a motorcycle rider darted across the path unexpectedly.
In a split-second decision to avert hitting the biker, the car driver swerved sharply, losing grip and crashing headlong into the truck’s rear. The vehicle carried four youths, with two seated upfront and two at the back. None survived the brutal smash.
Onlookers rushed to the site, forming a human chain for aid and recovery. The highway was blocked briefly due to the gathering crowd. Responding officers worked tirelessly to retrieve the fatalities from the debris-strewn car.
SP Rural Rajesh Singh Prabhakar detailed the response, noting post-mortem procedures and traffic normalization. Authorities are probing the incident thoroughly, focusing on road safety lapses and driver behavior on this busy corridor.
