Raipur, April 30, 2026/Office bearers of Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association, led by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his office chamber in the Assembly today.
On this occasion, the delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the significant decision of the मंत्रिपरिषद to allocate 5 acres of land at a concessional rate from the land registered in the name of Suryamukhi Devi Rajgami Sampada for the construction of a modern sports ground and state-of-the-art cricket academy. They said that this initiative will provide better training facilities to the sports talents of the district and open new avenues in the field of cricket.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh thanked the Chief Minister for taking a quick decision in the मंत्रिपरिषद meeting on the long-pending demand of the region. He said that this decision will enable the construction of a state-of-the-art stadium in Rajnandgaon, providing high-level opportunities to the players of the state. Also, being a tribal-dominated area, the talents here will get a better platform to showcase their capabilities at the national level.
During this time, MLA Shri Dharam Lal Kaushik, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Lalit Chandrakar, Secretary General of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association Shri Vikram Sisodia, Secretary of Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association Shri Yogesh Bagdi, along with other office bearers and members, were present.
