Police in Darbhanga, Bihar, have incarcerated a man for using abusive language against the Prime Minister. Simri police arrested the accused, Rizvi, also known as Raja, and presented him before the Darbhanga court. The court subsequently sent him to jail, with Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Junaid Aalam ordering 14 days of judicial custody. The main accused remains at large.
