The annual ‘Manthan 2025’ conclave hosted by News 24 commenced on Friday, October 3rd, setting the stage for discussions among Bihar’s leading political figures. The event’s inaugural guest was Jan Suraaj Party Chief Prashant Kishor, who elaborated on his party’s positions, addressed accusations leveled against them, and discussed the political climate of Bihar and the upcoming Assembly elections. ‘Manthan’ provides a platform for prominent Bihar leaders to debate their parties’ strategies and share their visions for the state’s advancement. Following Prashant Kishor’s address, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav commented on persistent errors in the updated voter list, despite the SIR initiative. He then presented his perspectives on the Bihar elections. Earlier in the event, Prashant Kishor stated that his party, the Jan Suraaj Party, intends to secure Tejashwi Yadav’s 30% vote share in the forthcoming Bihar elections. He also suggested the NDA is apprehensive and criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, noting a shift in public sentiment. Additional speakers included Upendra Kushwaha, Sanjay Jha, Ashok Choudhary, Awadhesh Singh, Kanhaiya Kumar, Nityanand Rai, and Mukesh Sahni. The primary objective of ‘Manthan 2025′ is to present leaders’ viewpoints on their plans and visions for the people of Bihar and to highlight their priorities if elected.
