In a stunning turn, West Bengal’s election trends show BJP surging to form its maiden government in the state revered as Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s birthplace. As the party, heir to the Jana Sangh legacy, gains ground, senior leaders hail it as a triumph over TMC’s divisive rule.

‘Bengal’s win safeguards India’s unity,’ BJP MP Vinod Tawde asserted. He argued that ousting appeasement politics here would inspire national change, with voters decisively rejecting hollow assurances after years of violent polls.

This election’s relative peace marks a departure from Bengal’s grim past, Tawde noted, boosting national morale. With victories in Assam and Puducherry, BJP now eyes governance in 25 states, fueling the drive toward a developed India by 2027.

BJP’s Tarun Chugh framed the verdict as Prime Minister Modi’s personal endorsement. ‘The people, their land, and mothers have wholeheartedly supported him,’ he said, accusing Mamata Banerjee’s tenure of turning Bengal’s soil red with youth’s blood and fostering tyranny.

The results in these states, Chugh added, rebuke brutal governance and affirm constitutional rule over radical agendas. Congress’s flop underscores Rahul Gandhi’s perennial losses, per Chugh. This lead in Bengal signals the end of an era, promising prosperity and peace under BJP stewardship.
