Karnataka’s BJP unit erupted in joy over promising results from West Bengal and Assam elections, hosting a lively event at Bengaluru headquarters with sweets and snacks shared among throngs of supporters.
Led by president BY Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition R Ashok, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, MLC CT Ravi, and others, the gathering at Jagannath Bhavan symbolized statewide enthusiasm.
A highlight was Ashok and Vijayendra preparing and serving ‘jhal muri’, evoking PM Modi’s memorable campaign moment in Jhargram that went viral.
Ashok didn’t hold back on critiques: ‘Mamata’s rule turned Bengal into a haven for terrorists and infiltrators from Bangladesh – two crore documented illegally. Her anarchy is over.’
The outcomes prove Modi’s unmatched role in safeguarding India, he asserted. National eyes were on Bengal due to governance scandals, attacks on institutions, and unrest. BJP’s advances strengthen border security.
For years, Bengal denied fencing permissions to troops. Voters endorsed Modi, Shah, and BJP brass, signaling Congress’s decline.
On Assam, Vijayendra described the third-term triumph as validation of sustained progress. ‘Beyond votes, it’s trust in our growth agenda and heritage preservation,’ he noted.
Assam’s repeat mandate affirms Modi’s developed India goal via coordinated central-state efforts. Benefits flow to the last mile: roads, schemes, inclusive development.
Vijayendra thanked Shah for electoral blueprint, Gadkari for party building, Sarma and Saikia for on-ground wins, and cadres for tireless outreach. ‘Worker power drove this,’ he emphasized, eyes on future battles.
