Political tempers are flaring in Rajasthan as Congress veteran Ashok Gehlot unleashes a barrage of criticism against the BJP following the exit of Raghav Chadha and six other AAP MPs. ‘The BJP will never change its colors,’ Gehlot asserted on April 24, labeling the defections as a classic BJP ploy to poach rivals.

Reflecting on past battles, Gehlot revisited the 2020 rebellion when BJP’s alleged horse-trading forced his cabinet into hotel seclusion. ‘They conveniently forget why we had to do that,’ he remarked, accusing Amit Shah of masterminding the plot alongside Pilot’s Manesar retreat that nearly toppled the government.

Gehlot didn’t spare the AAP leaders’ treatment. He highlighted how Chadha faced relentless central agency heat and scam smears, only for accusations to evaporate upon BJP entry. ‘Welcome to the BJP washing machine,’ he mocked, underscoring the party’s pattern.

Shifting gears to Bengal polls, Gehlot raised eyebrows over the 91% turnout. ‘How did it spike so high? Voter deletions via EC-biased SIR processes skewed the game,’ he charged, urging wait for results to reveal the real winners.

Finally, Gehlot targeted Rajasthan’s law enforcement amid fresh bomb threats to the assembly. Recounting similar warnings to key sites and the CM, he decried the failure to trace culprits. ‘Law and order is in shambles under this government,’ he concluded.
