In a shocking display of greed and inhumanity, a disabled man was reportedly burnt alive by his close relatives in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The victim, Rajesh Kumar Ray, operated a small general store from a hut in Khaira village to sustain his livelihood and care for his mother. The motive behind the gruesome killing is believed to be a feud over family property. Neighbors and family members revealed that Rajesh’s father and younger brother had frequently clashed with him over his share of the ancestral land. Despite his disability, Rajesh remained independent, which allegedly fueled the resentment of the accused individuals.

According to the victim’s mother, Teter Devi, the attackers showed no mercy. She narrated a harrowing account of how her husband and younger son conspired to eliminate Rajesh. They allegedly used petrol to incinerate the hut while Rajesh was restrained inside. The local fire brigade and police arrived at the scene to find the charred remains of the victim. The local community has expressed deep outrage, demanding the immediate arrest of the fugitives. Police officials have stated that they are investigating all angles, including financial disputes and previous threats made against the victim, and multiple teams have been dispatched for raids.
