Shabbir Ahmed, Bhopal: A prisoner from Hamidia Hospital escaped from police custody. The prisoner was admitted to the jail ward of Hamidia Hospital from the Central Jail. The prisoner was brought to the hospital for treatment of hernia. The miscreant opened the handcuffs and ran away from the hospital. The jail administration has punished the guard deployed to monitor the prisoner.
The miscreant was in jail in a case of attempt to murder. Whose name is being told as Ajay Gaur. A person had come to meet Ajay in the hospital. With the help of which the prisoner opened his handcuffs and escaped. FIR was registered against a policeman in the case. Action has been taken against police constable Ghanshyam Panwar.

The prisoner was earlier lodged in Bagemganj jail of Raisen. He was admitted to Hamidia Hospital due to hernia problem. A team has been formed to catch the absconding prisoner.
