Rajasthan’s Pratapgarh district police have struck at the heart of a drug empire by attaching a ₹2.5 crore luxury home owned by kingpin Jamshed Khan, known as ‘Seth Lala’, as part of the aggressive ‘Operation Trinetr’. The move freezes assets built on years of narcotics smuggling.

SP B. Aditya’s team at Arnod station meticulously documented the property under NDPS Act Section 68F(1), submitting the case to New Delhi authorities. Greenlit promptly, the attachment process is now underway for the opulent Devaldi village residence, with no legitimate source traceable to Khan’s sudden riches.

Khan’s criminal ledger is extensive: active involvement in MDMA, brown sugar, and doda chura trade, culminating in eight FIRs spanning three states. The breakthrough came from a March 30 raid in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, where Pipaloda police uncovered a sophisticated drug lab disguised as a poultry farm in Borkheda.

The haul included 200g MDMA, 900g precursor powders, massive chemical drums totaling 140.48kg, 35.6kg hydrochloric acid, and production gear. Khan and three accomplices were nabbed on site, unraveling his vast network.

Further probes confirmed the Devaldi mansion as proceeds of crime. Notices have been served, and departments alerted for auction proceedings. This isn’t just property grab—it’s a blueprint for eradicating drug finances.

‘We’re targeting wallets, not just wrists,’ SP Aditya asserted. In an era of rising synthetic drugs, such actions deter aspiring traffickers, fortify law enforcement’s arsenal, and restore community trust. Expect more such operations as police intensify surveillance across borders.
