In a powerful address at a women’s conclave in Varanasi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath exposed what he called a deliberate opposition sabotage against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives for female reservation. PM Modi, on a two-day sojourn to his home turf, kicked off multiple development schemes amid cheering crowds braving the scorching sun.

The conference drew thousands of women, a testament to Modi’s appeal. Fresh from Sikkim and West Bengal visits, the PM prioritized Kashi, underscoring his commitment. Yogi elaborated on Modi’s societal framework centered on nari (women), garib (poor), yuva (youth), and annadata (farmers), a philosophy driving nationwide progress.

Once shrouded in outdated perceptions, Kashi now captivates the world with its revamped infrastructure and cultural richness. Yogi lauded the seamless integration of modernity and legacy in Uttar Pradesh, positioning Kashi as a global beacon.

Over the past 10-12 years, Modi’s government has championed women’s security and respect. Bold moves for 33% quota in legislatures faced stiff resistance from Congress and SP, Yogi charged, adding that women are increasingly alienated from these parties and rallying behind Modi.

The city’s metamorphosis is staggering: Rs 35,000 crore in completed projects, Rs 20,000 crore in progress, and Rs 6,000 crore-plus on the horizon. Yogi extended a warm welcome to BJP chief JP Nadda, reinforcing the momentum of development in Modi’s Kashi.
