Bihar: Serial Snatcher Arrested for Using Fake Number Plates

A highly sophisticated chain snatcher has been taken into custody by the Sitamarhi police, exposing a calculated method of operation. The suspect, Munna Kumar, reportedly used a variety of tactics to evade the police, including frequently changing the number plates of his motorcycle to prevent identification through CCTV footage. Following a tip-off, a special police unit conducted a raid near the Shivhar Mor area, leading to his successful arrest. Upon further interrogation and a search of his hideout, officials recovered multiple sets of fake number plates, tools for altering vehicle registrations, and several pieces of stolen gold and silver jewelry. The police also found a weighing scale used for measuring the stolen ornaments. Authorities are now looking for his accomplice, Santosh Singh, as they believe the duo is responsible for numerous snatching incidents reported across the city over the last few months.
