Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel electrified a ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ in Botaad on Wednesday, announcing a staggering increase in the state’s budget from ₹30,000 crore under Congress rule to exceeding ₹4 lakh crore now—a testament to BJP’s governance model.

Addressing supporters ahead of local governance polls, Patel framed this fiscal leap as the outcome of strategic economic policies over years of BJP leadership. The rally buzzed with enthusiasm as he detailed the state’s ascent.

A key highlight was the MSME sector’s phenomenal rise: from 1.81 lakh enterprises pre-BJP to more than 27 lakh today. This surge has not only boosted manufacturing but also created millions of jobs, transforming rural economies.

Patel lauded the Vibrant Gujarat Summit’s role, launched under Narendra Modi’s stewardship, in making the state a powerhouse of investment and employment. Investments poured in, turning Gujarat into the nation’s industrial heartbeat.

Reflecting on politics, he criticized historical vote-bank tactics rooted in caste and communal lines, crediting Modi for ushering in a new era of progress-driven discourse. BJP’s grassroots engagement, he said, keeps it attuned to public needs beyond election cycles.

Welfare schemes took center stage too. Ayushman Bharat provides up to ₹10 lakh in free healthcare, now universally accessible for seniors over 70. Meanwhile, PM Swanidhi empowers vendors with easy loans, shielding them from usurious lenders.

As Gujarat marches forward, Patel’s speech reinforced the BJP’s narrative of development over division, promising continued momentum in the face of upcoming elections.
