The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has launched a targeted recruitment for 2026, inviting applications for Young Professional-I and Field Assistant Worker roles. Young Professional applicants should hold a BSc Agriculture degree (4 years) and demonstrate expertise in field experiments, nutrient analysis for soil and plants, computer tools, statistics, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Age limit: 40 years max as on May 7; reserved categories get standard relaxations.

For Field Assistant Workers, a 10th pass certificate is mandatory, alongside experience in fieldwork—sowing seeds, managing irrigation, controlling weeds, harvesting crops, preparing samples for nutrient tests, collecting soil samples, and handling lab upkeep and cleaning. Maximum age: 35 years.
