Raut: CM Shinde Must Hear Lok Sabha Debate First

In a fiery outburst, Shiv Sena (UBT) parliamentarian Sanjay Raut targeted Maharashtra’s leadership over spiraling drug cases and political posturing. Labeling the BJP’s influence as ‘Udata BJP’ – evoking images of airborne disorder – Raut highlighted the state’s unwanted record in narcotics hauls.

‘Drugs are flooding Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and beyond,’ he stated bluntly. This surge, according to Raut, reflects gross negligence by those in charge, demanding immediate action rather than rhetoric.

Turning to the Women’s Reservation Amendment, Raut dismissed ongoing marches as misguided. ‘The 2023 bill is law, approved and ordained. What’s the real agenda here?’ He advised CM Shinde to tune into Lok Sabha proceedings before rallying supporters. ‘Don’t drag in mismatches for debates; summon the PM if you dare,’ Raut quipped.

Raut didn’t spare the judiciary in his critique, particularly regarding AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal. ‘Our justice system is a tragedy,’ he said, calling for Supreme Court intervention amid eroding public faith. He’s presented proofs, he claims, underscoring the urgency.

From Pune, Supriya Sule of NCP (SP) reinforced the point on women’s quota, noting its passage two-and-a-half years back without execution. She lauded Rohit Pawar’s ‘mission mode’ efforts to shield others from Ajit Pawar’s fate and ensure fairness.

Sule addressed the Baramati subplot, where an alliance of NCP (SP), Congress, and UBT Shiv Sena pushed for a walkover. Contesting it now, she noted, defies that consensus. Raut’s broadside sets the stage for escalating tensions as elections loom, with drugs, bills, and bypolls fueling the fire.
