BJP’s Dilip Ghosh unleashed a blistering critique against rival parties over their stance on the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill, branding them as hypocrites who talk big on gender equality but act small when it matters. From his campaign trail in Kharagpur Sadar, Ghosh pointed out how the bill laid bare the opposition’s duplicity after years of rhetoric on women’s rights.

In an exclusive interview, Ghosh remarked, ‘This bill has revealed parties that routinely champion women’s empowerment. Their refusal to support it proves they’re just playing politics.’ He praised PM Modi’s track record, from schemes to policies uplifting women, positioning the bill as essential progress sabotaged by an uncooperative opposition more interested in obstruction than country welfare.

Ghosh didn’t spare Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of vote-buying tactics via cash doles while West Bengal descends into lawlessness. ‘Law and order is at zero; citizens are distressed with no one listening. Voters recognize BJP as the development engine and are set to elect us,’ he predicted confidently.

Fellow BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav, reacting to Modi’s speech, vowed the bill’s inevitable passage. ‘The PM’s pledge stands firm—we’ll enact this to empower women fully. Congress and others who stalled it will pay the price electorally.’

On the international front, Yadav updated on the Iranian navy incident involving an Indian vessel, confirming diplomatic protests and ongoing talks. With Lok Sabha polls underway, BJP leaders are leveraging these narratives to rally support around empowerment and strong governance.
