Over 100,000 March in London, Protesting Immigration Policies

In London, a rally titled 'Unite the Kingdom' drew over 100,000 participants on Saturday. Led by anti-immigration figure Tommy Robinson, the demonstration is considered one of the largest right-wing rallies in Britain. Clashes between protestors and police occurred near Whitehall, resulting in injuries to 26 police officers, with four in serious condition.

Simultaneously, a counter-protest called 'Stand Up to Racism' was held in Whitehall, comprising 5,000 people. Police attempted to separate the 5,000 counter-protestors from the larger demonstration when clashes erupted. Several police officers sustained injuries, including broken teeth and noses, and serious head wounds. Twenty-five individuals were arrested for their involvement in the violence. Police are working to identify other individuals involved in the disturbances.
