Qatar made its presence felt at an emergency Arab League ministerial session, joining via videoconference to denounce Iran’s purported strikes on Arab territories. Represented by State Minister Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Doha labeled the attacks as ‘illegal and reprehensible,’ calling out Iran’s breach of international norms.
The Foreign Ministry’s X post detailed the discussions, which zeroed in on holding Tehran accountable. This virtual summit underscores the deepening rift between Iran and its Arab neighbors, fueled by a series of confrontational moves.

Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, speaking at an inter-ministerial briefing on Monday, revealed sustained communications with Iran. ‘Our priority is securing safe navigation for Indian ships and protecting our nationals there,’ he affirmed. With numerous Indians in Iran, New Delhi is prioritizing their safety.
As regional dynamics shift rapidly, India’s proactive diplomacy signals a balanced approach, engaging Iran while monitoring West Asian hotspots. Qatar’s vocal participation in the Arab League amplifies calls for restraint, potentially averting wider instability in this oil-rich corridor.
