  • Smt. Bhendia will review departmental works in Bemetara on February 19

    Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia will be on a stay in Bemetara district on 19 February and will participate in the event including various meetings. Mrs. Bhendia will depart Daundilohara for Bemetra at 10 am on February 19 and review the departmental works at Bemetara at 12 noon. Mrs. Bhendia will attend the meeting of the District Mineral Trust Institute Council at 3 pm. After the meeting, at 4 pm, Mrs. Bhendia will leave for the village of Kathautia in the development block of Nawagarh and will attend the Shrimad Bhagwat program held at 4.30 pm at the residence of Pandaria MLA Mrs. Mamta Chandrakar. From village Kathautia, Mrs. Bhendia will leave for Raipur at 5.30 pm.

  • Under the chairmanship of Social Welfare Minister Smt. Bhendia, a resolution was taken to create an addiction-free Chhattisgarh.

    On the occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Social Welfare Minister and the Chairperson of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Smt. Anila Bhendia, the anti-pledge resolution and oath day was organized on Saturday, January 30 at 8 am in the collectorate garden complex of Raipur. On this occasion, Mrs. Bhendia called for creating a de-addiction Chhattisgarh and administered an oath to the general public and officers-employees for de-addiction. Through the Facebook Live of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, online resolutions and oaths were taken by yoga practitioners and generals residing outside Raipur. The program was organized under the joint aegis of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission and Raipur District Office of Social Welfare Department with the objective of developing public opinion in favor of effective control and de-addiction on the trend of drug abuse.

    Wreathed Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and paid tribute to him and inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp. This was followed by the rehearsal program with the songs of the state song ‘Arpa Pari Ke Dhar …..’, Ramdhun and Nashamukti. On this occasion, Mrs. Bhendia gave a Commendation Certificate to the 55 active de-addiction of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission. He also unveiled the booklet ‘Mahatma Gandhi and Naturopathy’ of the National Institute of Natural Medicine. On this occasion, Mrs. Bhendia flagged off the chariot to make people aware about de-addiction.
