In this case, you can improve internet speed by changing some settings of the device. If you are users of Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea or Bharti Airtel, then you can get best 4G speed by changing these settings in the device.

You need to select the best network type in your phone. For this, you have to go to the Settings of the phone and tap on ‘Network Settings’ and here you will need to select 4G or LTE in Preferred Network Type. By doing this the network of your phone will not shift to 3G or 2G. This way you will continue to get the best speed.

On using the phone for a long time, Cache files are stored in it. With such files, not only your phone, 4G Internet also becomes slow. In such a situation, it is important that you clear the phone’s Cache at least once in 7 to 10 days. For this, the help of auto cleaner apps can be taken.

For information, let us know that Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea have different APN (Access Point Network). You can check whether your APN of your telecom service provider is correct by going to your phone’s network settings. If the phone is not getting the right speed, then you go to the APN Settings menu and click on Reset to default. With this, your phone’s network will start working well.

Due to the use of data in the background, many times you get slow internet speed. With the help of data usage apps, you can find out which app in the phone uses the most data. In such a situation, you stop the background data access of the app which is not necessary.

  • Will iPhone XR Be the Perfect iPhone for India in 2018?

From losing key executives to losing the top spot in the premium smartphone market, 2018 has been a difficult year for Apple in India. But with the “most affordable” new iPhone of the year launching in India and elsewhere on Friday, the Cupertino giant will hope to entice buyers — new and old — in the market.

The new model features an iPhone X-like display notch that includes the TrueDepth camera system, the technology that enables facial recognition feature Face ID. It also has the same A12 Bionic SoC that is powering the more premium iPhone XS Max₹ 99,300 and iPhone XS ₹ 91,788. Despite the similarities with last year’s iPhone X and the latest and the greatest iPhone models, the iPhone XR₹ 76,900 starts at Rs. 76,900, making it the most affordable phone that looks like the iPhone X. The price, however, is still higher than even premium Android smartphones that have much better specifications on paper.

Market analysts believe that it won’t be the spec-sheet that will persuade customers to pick the iPhone XR over a top-of-the-line Android smartphone.

“As compared to premium Android smartphones, the iPhone XR will fare poorly on a spec-to-spec comparison, including imaging or display,” observes Rushabh Doshi, Research Manager, Canalys. “However, Apple’s appeal is not in the internals or specs. Its stickiness is high, and users who wish to remain in the ecosystem will buy an iPhone XR.”

Tarun Pathak of Counterpoint Research echoes Doshi’s belief, pointing out that the iPhone XR could be a good upgrade for iPhone users who have skipped the previous-generation iPhone models.

“Hardcore Apple and rich affluent users will be willing to shell that price since it’s a status symbol for them, but then that section of users is small,” Pathak, Associate Director of Counterpoint Research, tells Gadgets 360. “However, we believe that Apple strategy in India should be to sell more iPhones rather than new iPhones. Given the stickiness of the iOS  ecosystem, these older iPhone users are likely to upgrade to iPhone only.”

  • Honor 7A First Impressions Review

Honor has introduced two new devices in the budget segment in India by the name of Honor 7C and the Honor 7A. Sporting a similar design language and firepower, both the smartphones basically differ in their size. Honor 7A comes as the scaled down variant of the two and boasts of a dual camera setup at the back, a full-screen display and the latest Android operating system. So is this enough to make it stand apart from its competitors at its price range? We find out in this review.

Honor has used its signature style statement on both the smartphones and it does justice to the Honor 7A to an extent. The device is simple and elegant in the first look and its compact size also makes sure of the ease of use for single-handed users. The only hard keys on the smartphone are placed on the right, with the volume rockers placed above the power key. The full view display is surrounded by thin bezels on the side and thicker bezels at the top and the bottom. While the bottom bezel sports the Honor logo, the top houses the selfie camera, LED flash and an earpiece.

It’s the back of the Honor 7A which is a bit more attractive than the front. The dual camera setup has been placed on the top left, aligning with the top antennae band. The fingerprint sensor has been placed at the centre and there is another antennae band running at the bottom of the back panel. Right above it is another Honor logo. All in all, it’s a neat arrangement of elements on the Honor 7A that also looks pleasing to the eye. The plastic back also makes sure there are no fingerprint smudges left on the smartphone upon use.
