  • On the instructions of the collector, the beneficiary of the sensitive area received the ration card

    Efforts are constantly being made by the district administration for development by spreading government schemes in sensitive areas. Social workers play an important role in this. Accordingly, information regarding family living below poverty line of the area was given to collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena by social worker Prakash Bagde of Kedinar, a very sensitive area of ​​the district. According to the application, the said family was eligible for BPL card, but due to lack of specific information regarding the economic status of the family in the 2011 Socio Economic Census, they could not get the ration card. On receipt of the application, the Collector had directed the Food Officer for prompt action in this regard. On which information was obtained from the Gram Panchayat regarding the economic status of the family by establishing contact with the said family in collaboration with the social worker. After the recommendation of the Gram Panchayat, the food inspector Hitesh Manikpuri immediately issued the ration card in the name of the head of the family. Which was made available to the family soon with the help of a social worker so that the government can give them the benefit of various schemes and in view of the epidemic, a free ration of 02 months is being provided. So that the family can be maintained properly.
    It is noteworthy that on the instructions of the Collector, efforts are being made to make available various schemes, giving priority to these vulnerable areas. For this, mobile teams are being sent to susceptible areas and their Aadhaar cards, ration cards, smart cards are being made. Along with this, health camps are also organized from time to time in these areas for the treatment of malnutrition and serious diseases. In these areas, the movement of rains in the rain is difficult due to the Barani drains flowing here, in view of this, the ration and other necessary materials are being distributed for distribution this year as well by the administration. In order to overcome malnutrition in children, under the scheme of Nutrition, the Nangat Pila program is also being run at a rapid pace.

  • Allocation of 108 Kg of Kerosene for Bemetara District

    Allocation of kerosene has been issued by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department for distribution to consumers by fair price shops and hawkers in the month of February. A total allocation of 108 kilo liters of kerosene has been issued for the month of February 2021 for Bemetara district for ration cards and hawkers prevailing under the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security Act. In February 2021, all priority, Antyodaya and Annapurna ration cards prevalent under the public distribution system will be eligible for kerosene.
    Food department officials said that maximum 2 liters of kerosene will be eligible for ration card holders in urban areas, maximum 3 liters in scheduled areas under rural areas and maximum 2 liters of kerosene in non-scheduled areas. The hawkers who distribute the kerosene will stand in front of the fair price shop set by the district administration and distribute the kerosene to the ration card holders.

  • Corporation set up camp in Pottia, Durg to take applications for ration card, population lease

    The camp is being set up in different wards these days by the Durg Corporation to give information about the various schemes of the government being run for the poor. The camp was held on Wednesday at the primary school campus in Potia. Residents of ward number-53 and ward number-54 have been called in the camp. Such camps are being organized in Durg Nigam area for almost a month. On Wednesday, residents of ward number-53 and ward number-54 attended the camp organized in Potiya Primary School. Officers of various departments of the corporation are also present in the camp. Applications for making new ration card, destitute pension card, laborer card, lease renewal and new lease are being taken here. The camp will run till 5.30 pm. Councilor Anup Chandaniyan of ward number 54 present in the camp said that many types of schemes are being operated by the government for the poor, but due to lack of information many needy are not able to take advantage of these schemes. Efforts are being made to benefit such people in the camp.

    Before this, camp has been organized by the Durg Corporation in various wards of the city under the Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme in the corporation area. This camp will be organized again in the coming days. Mayor Dheeraj Bakaliwal said that under the Mukhyamantri Slum Swasthya Yojana, a mobile van was sent to the slum area.
