  • Taliban takeover of Afghanistan to benefit Pakistan the most: AIMIM Chief Owaisi

    By ANI

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said Taliban takeover of Afghanistan would benefit Pakistan the most as the country’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) controls the terrorist outfit.

Speaking at an event here on Thursday, Owaisi said: “Pakistan has gained the most from the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Experts are saying that Al Qaeda and Daesh have reached some areas in Afghanistan.”

“Jaish-e-Muhammad, which indulges in the acts of terrorism including the attack on Parliament, they are now in Afghanistan’s Helmand. One must remember that ISI controls the Taliban. ISI is an enemy of India, and uses Taliban as a puppet,” he added.

Owaisi also stated that China would also benefit from the Taliban takeover.

“As per a report, one out of nine female children dies before age of five years in India. There are atrocities and crimes against women here. But, they (Centre) are worried about what is happening to women in Afghanistan. Isn’t it happening here as well?” Owaisi said slamming the Central government.

Earlier on Monday, the AIMIM chief had said India should have opened dialogue with the Taliban before it had full control of Afghanistan.

“Now that Afghanistan is in complete control of Taliban, we have no communication, no dialogue with them. All international and security experts have said talks should have been done. But, for last seven years Central government has failed to read what is happening,” he said.

  • ‘RSS, BJP leaders potential targets’: Punjab CM seeks 25 CAPF companies, anti-drone gadgets for BSF

    Express News Service

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to urgently provide 25 companies of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and anti-drone gadgets for the Border Security Force (BSF) for protection from Pak-backed terror forces.

The CM said the potential targets are farmers, RSS, BJP, Shiv Sena, and other leaders. Citing the recent heavy influx of weapons, hand-grenades, and IEDs into the state, with Pakistan’s ISI also raising the ante ahead of the Independence Day and in the run-up to the Punjab Assembly polls, Amarinder told Shah at a meeting here this evening that the security situation was grave and needed the Centre’s immediate intervention.

He sought from the Union Home Minister CAPF deployment for Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mohali, Patiala, Bathinda, Phagwara, and Moga, as well as anti-drone technology for the BSF deployed at the borders. He pointed to the potential threat to the security of vital infrastructure, installations and public meetings being attended by highly threatened individuals.

Citing inputs from central and state agencies, corroborated by disclosures made by arrested terrorists, Amarinder said potential individual and mass indiscriminate targets include trains, buses and temples, prominent farmer leaders (specific inputs about five such farmer leaders had been received but they had refused to take security offered by Punjab and Haryana police), RSS Shakhas, Offices, RSS, BJP, Shiv Sena leaders based in Punjab, Deras, Nirankari Bhawans and Samagams.

Amarinder told Shah that between July 4 and August 8, 2021, foreign-based pro-Khalistani entities, working in close collaboration with the ISI, had managed to induct over 30 pistols, one MP4 Rifle, one AK-47 Rifle, around 35 hand-grenades, sophisticated laboratory-made tiffin bombs, over 6 Kg RDX and assorted hardware for fabrication of IEDs (9 detonators, 1 multiple timer device and fuse-wire).

He further informed the Union Home Minister that in the last 35 days, more than 17 deliveries of weapons, hand-grenades, explosives, and assorted IED fabrication hardware had come to the notice of the Punjab Police and the central agencies, which meant that consignments of weapons, hand-grenades, IEDs were delivered to Punjab based terror operatives on every second day in July with the trend continuing in August.

  • Army man arrested for providing classified documents to Pakistan’s ISI

    By PTI
NEW DELHI: Two persons, including an Army man, have been arrested under the Official Secrets Act for allegedly providing classified documents to the Inter-Services Intelligence of Pakistan, the Delhi Police said on Thursday.

The Army headquarters have confirmed that the documents in question were classified in nature, they said.

The development comes after a 34-year-old vegetable supplier at the Pokhran Army base camp was held for allegedly getting sensitive documents from an Army man for money and providing them to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The vegetable supplier, Habeeb Khan, was picked up on Tuesday by the Delhi Police from Pokhran in Rajasthan, officials had said on Wednesday.

The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch received information that some sensitive documents related to defence establishment were being sent to the neighbouring country through spy network.

“We got input about the involvement of one Habibur Rehman. Our team then conducted a raid and arrested him from Pokhran after due verification. Some secret documents were recovered from his possession and a case was registered against him under the Official Secrets Act,” Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Praveer Ranjan said at a press conference.

During the course of investigation, it was found that Army man Paramjit was the link man in the crime.

He was earlier posted at Pokhran where he came in contact with Rehman who asked him to share the secret documents, the officer said.

Paramjit is currently posted as a clerk at Agra Cantt, police said.

According to police, Rehman’s relatives are based in Pakistan’s Sindh and he had been to that country and met some people there involved in the spy racket.

Rehman was asked to share the documents with them and the money for doing the job was sent through hawala network, police said, adding that further investigation is underway in the matter.

“Both Rehman and Paramjit have been found involved in the illegal act. The Army headquarters have also confirmed that the documents shared by the duo were classified in nature,” a police officer said.

Multiple bank accounts used in the crime have been found, he said, adding the matter is being thoroughly investigated.

  • Two Army jawans held on spying charges: Punjab Police

    By Express News Service
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Police on Tuesday busted a major cross-border espionage network with the arrest of two army personnel on charges of spying and providing classified documents to the Inter-Services Intelligence.

Director General of Police Dinkar Gupta said that Jalandhar Rural Police while investigating an NDPS case, seized confidential and secret documents related to the functioning and deployment of the Army from drug smuggler Ranvir Singh, who was arrested with heroin on May 24.

He said that during interrogation, Ranvir disclosed that he got these documents from one of the two soldiers, who was his friend, as they both belong to the same village.

“Ranvir motivated and lured the sepoy with financial benefits for sharing defence-related classified documents, following which the latter induced his friend, the other soldier, into such anti-national spying activities,” said the DGP.

  • Two Army jawans held for spying for Pakistan’s ISI: Punjab Police

    By PTI
CHANDIGARH: Two Army jawans have been arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the Punjab Police said on Tuesday.

The accused have been identified as Sepoy Harpreet Singh (23), who was posted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag and belongs to 19 Rashtriya Rifles, and Sepoy Gurbhej Singh (23), who was working as a clerk in Kargil and belongs to 18 Sikh Light Infantry.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Dinkar Gupta said both the accused had already shared pictures of over 900 classified documents — pertaining to defence of the country and national security — to a cross-border drug smuggler, Ranvir Singh, over a period of four months between February and May 2021, who had further passed them on to Pakistani Intelligence Officers.

Gupta said that the Jalandhar Rural Police, led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Naveen Singla, while investigating a Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) case, recovered confidential and secret documents related to the functioning and deployment of the Indian Army from Ranvir Singh, who was arrested with 70 g of heroin on May 24.

He said during interrogation, Ranvir Singh disclosed that he got these documents from Harpreet Singh, who was his friend, as they both belong to the same village.

“Ranvir motivated and lured Harpreet Singh with financial benefits for sharing defence-related classified documents, following which the latter induced his friend Gurbhej Singh into such anti-national spying activities,” Gupta alleged.

Since Gurbhej Singh was working as a clerk in 121 Infantry Brigade Headquarters in Kargil, he could get easy access to these classified documents containing both strategic and tactical information relating to the Indian Army, the DGP was quoted as saying in an official statement here.

The DGP said Ranvir Singh further used to send these classified documents to either the Pakistan ISI operatives directly or via one Gopi, who has been identified as the main drug smuggler from Dauke village in Amritsar having links with Pakistan-based drug-smuggling syndicates and ISI officials, who invariably work in tandem with each other.

Following Ranvir Singh’s disclosures, the police have also arrested Gopi, who has confessed to having transferred classified documents to Pakistan-based drug smugglers, one of whom has been identified as Kothar, and an alleged Pak ISI operative identified as Sikander in lieu of supply of heroin and financial benefits, the DGP said, adding that all the pictures of the classified documents were transmitted over encrypted apps.

According to preliminary investigations, the DGP said that Harpreet Singh, from Cheecha village in Amritsar, and Gurbhej Singh, a native of Punian village in Punjab’s Tarn Taran, got monetary inducements for sharing confidential information.

He said Ranvir Singh gave money to Harpreet Singh, who further used to transfer it to Gurbhej Singh’s account.

Harpreet Singh had joined the Army in 2017 while Gurbhej Singh had joined in 2015.

SSP Singla said that the Army authorities had handed over both the accused to the Jalandhar Rural Police and further investigations were being carried out to ascertain the involvement of any other accused persons.

  • Cops question two sisters in Indore for suspected ISI links

    By Express News Service
BHOPAL: Two young women, both sisters, are reportedly being questioned by police and military intelligence in Mhow town of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district on Friday for suspected links with Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

The two women aged between 28 and 32 years were on police and military intelligence’s radar following specific inputs about them being in regular touch with contacts in Pakistan, particularly suspected ISI operatives and possibly retired and present army officers across the LoC.

According to sources privy to investigation, one of the sisters is a school teacher, while the other woman has worked with an electricity company in the past. They were using fake IDs on social media to regularly communicate with contacts (possibly ISI operatives) in Pakistan, for over a year.

The two women were in contact with a man hailing from Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The J&K man also has possibly been picked up by the cops and military intelligence for questioning.

The two women, who hail from Gawli Palasia area near Mhow town, are daughters of an ex-serviceman, who after retirement had worked as a security guard at a nationalized bank branch in Mhow only.

While refusing to share details of the entire development, the Inspector General of Indore Zone Harinarayanchari Mishra told The New Indian Express that the local police and intelligence agencies are jointly working in the matter.

  • Pakistan-linked ISI terror module busted in Gujarat; three arrested

    By PTI
AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad crime branch on Wednesday arrested three persons for allegedly setting ablaze seven shops here as part of a larger conspiracy of Pakistan’s spy agency ISI to spread terror by luring unsuspecting petty criminals in need of money, officials said.

They have been booked under IPC sections for waging war against the government and provisions of the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), they said.

An unidentified ISI agent, without revealing his true identity or motive, had allegedly lured the three men to set the shops on fire here in Gujarat as part of the ISI’s plans to spread terror, jeopardise internal security and cause economic losses to India, the police said.

Those arrested have been identified as Bhupendra Vanzara, Anil Khatik and Ankit Pal, they said.

Pal was admitted to hospital under police protection as he had tested positive for coronavirus.

As directed by the ISI handler, who used to identify himself as Baba Bhai and has several Facebook profiles with similar names, the three accused set ablaze seven cloth shops in Kalupur area here on the night of March 20, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Premvir Singh told reporters.

“After the incident, we received intelligence inputs that the shops were deliberately set on fire by some men at the behest of the ISI. Following a detailed probe into the matter, we nabbed the three men,” he said.

“The three accused received Rs 1.5 lakh from the ISI agent via Dubai-Mumbai ‘angadia’ (courier) route for setting the shops on fire,” he said.

Vanzara is a petty criminal and came in contact with the ISI agent through Facebook, the official said.

Baba Bhai, without revealing his identity or motive, offered money to Vanzara to kill random people and set shops afire, the official claimed.

“Vanzara had earlier taken Rs 25,000 from the ISI agent through Paytm to buy a gun,” Singh said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Chaitanya Mandlik said Baba Bhai used to send friend requests to people having criminal mentality and those in need of money.

“We traced some of the IP addresses, used by the ISI agent to chat with Vanzara, to Karachi, which establishes the ISI connection.

This was a money trap laid by them to lure Indian citizens to spread terror and cause economic losses,” Mandlik said.

The trio and the unidentified ISI agent, who was giving instructions to them from abroad, have been booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 121 (waging war against the government) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy), and relevant provisions of the UAPA, the police said.

  • NIA files chargesheet against Indian operative of Pakistan ISI in espionage case

    By PTI
VIJAYAWADA: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a supplementary chargesheet against an Indian operative of Pakistan’s spy agency ISI for allegedly raising funds for espionage activities in India, an official said.

The first supplementary chargesheet against Imran Yakub Giteli, a resident of Godhra in Gujarat, was filed under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) before the special NIA court in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, he said.

The official said a case was registered in November 2019 under sections of the IPC, the UAPA and the Official Secrets Act in Vijayawada over a conspiracy hatched by Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence agents along with their associates based in India to carry out terrorist acts in India.

They were involved in espionage activities by collecting sensitive and classified official information relating to vital defence installations in order to threaten the integrity, security and sovereignty of India, he added.

The official said the National Investigation Agency re-registered the case in December 2019 and took over the investigation.

The premier investigation agency had earlier filed a chargesheet against 14 accused, including three civilians with business interests in Pakistan, in June last year, he said.

Giteli was in contact with Pakistani agents and used to meet them during his visits to Pakistan, the NIA official.

On the instructions of Pakistani ISI agents, he was transferring money into the accounts of Navy personnel in lieu of passing sensitive and strategic information, the official added.

Giteli was raising funds for terrorist activities in the garb of illegal cloth business, he said.

Investigation revealed an organised wide network of Pakistan-based espionage activities in India utilising services of operatives like Giteli, the official said, adding further investigation in the case is on.

  • Editorial :- The politics of Rahul Gandhi, the traditionalist who insulted the elders

Before discussing Rahul Gandhi, it would be appropriate to discuss his political guru Digvijay Singh and Mani Shankar Aiyar.
In Pakistan Mani Shankar Aiyar had sought the help of ISI to remove Modi’s Prime Minister Modi while giving an interview on a TV channel. He Mani Shankar Aiyar said, “The person who is in power today, his Guru Savarkar gave him the first theory of ‘To Nation’.”
Today, another member of Rahul Gandhi gang, film lyricist Javed Akhtar has also liked a similar response.
Walking on his footprints, Rahul Gandhi said that at the time Congress was fighting Nehru-Gandhi family with the British, Veer Savarkar was apologizing to the British.
This is what the Congress and their Left companions have been giving to Atal ji. Atal ji is calling all these agents of the British.
Today Rahul Gandhi and his other companions are making a pretense of devotion to Atal ji, it is necessary to discuss this in this editorial.
It is necessary to discuss the topic of the two-nation theory. It is a historical fact that the birthright of Two Nation Theory was Jinnah and Nehru. Both of them accepted the partition of India to become their heads. Sir Sayed was the founder of Aligarh Muslim University on the same Two Nation Theory. This is why Jinnah’s photo is sitting in this university.
Rahul Gandhi’s mentor Digvijay Singh had released the book responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and responsible for the Indo-Task Force. This is what Digvijay Singh has done today very disgusting politics.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh gave a big statement on the death of Saint Dhyuji Maharaj. Digvijay Singh said that Dheoyaji was worried about the illegal mining being done by Shivraj Sarkar in Narmada. Bhayyaji Maharaj had himself killed himself in Indore by shooting himself on Tuesday. After his self-esteem, his suicide note of about six lines has also emerged. In which he wrote that I am very tense and upset, I am going.
Let us know that till date, it was not known what was the reason for living in tension.
Talking to media, Digvijay Singh said that, Bhayyaji Maharaj was concerned about the illegal mining done by Shivraj Singh in Narmada. Shivraj Singh also offered a ministerial post to keep Dhayuji Maharaj close to his mouth. But they rejected this offer. He himself told me about this on the call.
First came to see Atal ji, protects Advani ji in the celebrations. Rahul said that Atalji is sick, first I went there Because I understand. They fought against us but they were the prime ministers of the country. They have worked for the country.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s accusation, BJP has rightly said that Rahul Gandhi is now doing politics even when asked about Vajpayee’s movement and in such cases there is little politics in rhetoric.
The allegations of the case done by the RSS on Rahul Gandhi have been fixed. It is enough to say that Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been a volunteer of National Self-Service Association. At the time of the Janata Party rule, when the issue of dual membership rose, the BJP under the leadership of Atal ji had separated from the Janata Party. He is facing litigation today by making false allegations against Atal ji’s maternal institution. This is just being done for publicity stunt.
PM Modi’s fitness challenge is also on the politics of Congress.
Today Atal, Rahul has become a devotee of Advani. In fact, to insult the elderly leaders, there is tradition in the Congress party. There are countless examples of this in front of us. Let us look at the key issues in which the Congress has insulted the legendary politicians like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Sitaram Kesari, Pranab Mukherjee and Narasimha Rao. It has been discussed in detail in different articles on this page.
Rahul Gandhi should know that in order to know about Atal, Advani ji and in detail about the Sangh, former President Pranab Mukherjee joined the Sangh’s program and said the RSS founder Dr. Hegdevar as the true witness of Bharat Mata and Following the same photo of the second sarsanghchalak Golwarkar ji of the Sangh, Rahul Gandhi also goes to the Sangh’s branch and closely connected to the Sangh Try to understand.
