  • Home Minister inspected the construction works of Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan in Delhi

    Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, during his stay in New Delhi today, inspected the construction works of Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan being built in Dwarka and gave necessary instructions to the departmental officers. Taking stock of the construction works, Home Minister Shri Sahu gave instructions to the departmental officers to execute the work within the stipulated time frame. He also directed to complete the works stalled due to the lockdown at a fast pace.
    It is noteworthy that the new Chhattisgarh Sadan is being constructed at a cost of Rs.60 crore 42 lakh in Dwarka, New Delhi, the capital of the country. For the construction of Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan in Sector 13 of Dwarka, 43 thousand 803 square feet land has been purchased for Rs 22.50 crore. In Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan, 10 suite rooms, 67 rooms, meeting hall including dining hall and waiting and tower for employees are being constructed. During the inspection, along with the Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, the Public Works Department officer of New Delhi, Shri RP Yadav was also present.

  • Collector inspected Kovid Hospital Saja and Thankhamharia

  • Collector inspected the ongoing construction works in Pragati Path and Dalpat Sagar

    Collector Shri Rajat Bansal today inspected the Pragati Path being constructed in Gidam Road and ongoing construction works in Dalpat Sagar from Danteshwari temple in Jagdalpur to rest house of NMDC. He instructed to complete the construction of Pragati Path by 31 March and restore traffic. He also directed for the installation of street lights in the Drider being constructed in Pragati Path. During the construction of the road, there should be no inconvenience to the common citizens, so that all proper arrangements were given.
    The Collector also directed to prepare an action plan towards a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging in the city during the rains. For this, the people’s representatives, sub-divisional magistrates, municipal commissioners and officials of the concerned departments were coordinated and directed to initiate necessary action.
    The collector directed the construction of shop, Chowpatty etc. here along with the beautification work being done in Dalpat Sagar. He said that trees in this area should not be harmed in any way. Apart from reserving the parking space here, he gave necessary instructions regarding construction of trek for walking and smooth movement in the area.

After this, the senior doctor made a written complaint to the environment minister Mohammad Akbar through the Indian Medical Association. After which the woman scientist was suspended.

  • Collector Shri Dharmesh Sahu inspects Sakhi One Stop Center and Children’s Home

    Dharmesh Kumar Sahu inspected the Sakhi forest stop center and child house run by the Women and Child Development Department at the district headquarters today. During the inspection, Collector Shri Sahu took stock of the facilities and necessary arrangements being provided at Sakhi Forest Staff Center. He inquired about the number of complaints received so far and the action taken thereon and the cases disposed of and pending. The Collector emphasized on maximum dissemination of facilities being provided by Sakhi One Stop Center, so that the victimized women can get its benefits. The Center Administrator of Sakhi Forest Stop Center said that the work of providing facilities and assistance in respect of all women and girls suffering from domestic violence, girl child lying in wrong company and such activities which suffer, through Sakhi Forest Staff Center being done. Under shelter assistance, free legal aid is provided to the aggrieved women under room, food and legal assistance for the victim women.
    Collector Shri Sahu inquired about the cases received and disposed of till date from establishment of Sakhi Forest Stop Center in the district. On which the Central Administration stated that since the establishment of Sakhi One Stop Center, about 616 cases have been processed by One Stop Center Sakhi. A total of 13 cases have been received in the month of January-21. Out of the cases received so far, 607 cases have been resolved. In this way, shelter assistance has been provided in 274 cases, medical assistance in 31 cases, police assistance in 82 cases and legal assistance has been provided in 50 cases. Collector Shri Sahu took detailed information about the facilities provided in the center and visited the shelter site. The Collector instructed that letters and magazines related to the government’s schemes should be kept in the center. The Center Administrator said that under counseling assistance, if a woman is suffering from assault or behavior by her husband, they are counseled and explained and medical help is provided to women. Apart from this, if a woman needs police assistance in police assistance, she is provided police assistance by coordinating with the police through One Stop Center Sakhi. He informed that Emergency Stop One Stop Center is available for 24-hour Sakhi facility. Any aggrieved woman can register her complaint at the toll free number of Sakhi One Stop Center.
