In an exclusive interview with News24, Prithvi Shaw, the former captain of the Under-19 World Cup-winning Indian team, revealed his aspirations to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL). Shaw, who last played in the 2024 IPL season, expressed his desire to play for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming seasons. This revelation came as a surprise, considering Shaw’s association with the Delhi Capitals since 2018. He was not retained by the team during the 2025 IPL auctions held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
