Indian Railways is ushering in a new era of technology and safety with the successful high-speed trial of the Vande Bharat Express. The indigenously developed train, equipped with the ‘Kavach’ anti-collision system, achieved a remarkable speed of 160 kilometers per hour during a trial run between Gaya and Sarmatanr stations. This significant achievement on the East Central Railway line promises to accelerate development and unlock new possibilities for operating premium trains like the Rajdhani and Duronto.
