In Chaibasa, Western Singhbhum district, a tribute ceremony was held on Tuesday to honor Devendra Majhi, a key figure in the Jal, Jungle, Zameen (Water, Forest, Land) movement. The event took place at the residential complex of Member of Parliament (MP) Joba Majhi on Pump Road in Chakradharpur. At the memorial site, MP Joba Majhi, along with her son MLA Jagat Majhi, and other supporters and family members, paid their respects by offering flowers. Following the tribute, MP Joba Majhi and MLA Jagat Majhi departed for a memorial service in Goilkera, joined by their supporters. The gathering commemorated the sacrifice and legacy of Devendra Majhi, a revered leader.
