Delhi’s Southwest District police scored a major victory against crime on April 26, nabbing Sushil Kumar alias Sajan in Palam Village with incriminating evidence: a pilfered LPG cylinder and two snatched mobiles. The operation stemmed from an e-FIR filed on April 22 for housebreaking, triggering a high-intensity probe.

Under SHO Inspector Sudhir Kumar Gulia’s command and ACP Anil Kumar’s oversight, a specialist squad—including ASIs Sanjeev Kumar, Veerendra Singh, HC Harendra, Sandeep, and Krishna—mobilized undercover sources, deployed tech tools for tracking, and pored over extensive CCTV archives. Area patrols intensified to profile repeat offenders, culminating in pinpointing the culprit through footage dissection.

A secret intel on Sajan’s local movements prompted an ambush, leading to his capture with the cylinder. Follow-up questioning yielded the mobiles. Once a cab driver, the 33-year-old Mahavir Enclave dweller abandoned his job amid booze dependency, resorting to quick-cash thefts.

Sajan boasts three previous FIRs at Palam Village PS, underscoring his criminal history. Police are digging deeper, signaling an ongoing crackdown to deter such elements and restore community safety.
