A majestic confluence of saints, power, and culture unfolded at Haridwar’s Bharat Mata Temple during the second phase of the Guru Samadhi and Murti Pratistha event. Dignitaries and spiritual leaders gathered to honor Padma Bhushan awardee Swami Satyamitranand Maharaj, celebrating his pivotal role in upholding Sanatan values and Indian patriotism.
Through his visionary establishment of the Bharat Mata Temple, Swami Satyamitranand provided a strong foundation for nationalistic fervor and cultural preservation. His life was a testament to selfless service for eternal Hindu traditions.
Speaking at the event, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami noted, ‘This idol consecration is in memory of Brahmleen Sant Satyamitranand, guru to Swami Awadheshanand Giri. He advanced culture and unity, embodying nationalism. Youth will find inspiration in him for Sanatan causes.’
MP CM Mohan Yadav, present at Poojya Juna Peethadheeshwar’s invitation, praised the temple’s creation as an enduring legacy. He described the program’s success amid the august assembly of guests.
Swami Awadheshanand Giri announced the arrival of prominent figures like Bihar Governor, J&K L-G Manoj Sinha, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. ‘Our discussions center on India’s oneness and Sanatan ethos. It’s the spine of our nation—its survival ensures India’s endurance,’ he affirmed.
Baba Ramdev enlightened the crowd: ‘Superiority in faith, country, caste, or ideology divides us; unity lies in recognizing the universal Brahman. Sanatan promotes equality, countering global strife. Saints like Satyamitranand impart divine inspiration.’
