Innovation and technological development are rapidly advancing in Bihar. At the Bihar Idea Festival organized by the Department of Industries, Shashi Kumar from Patna district secured the first position. He developed a portable automated medical waste water treatment system. This system automatically treats harmful water from healthcare and medical institutions’ medical waste, making it environmentally friendly. He was awarded a sum of 25,000 rupees by the government.
