A prominent Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Rajkumar Rai, was fatally shot in Patna on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 10 PM near Rajendra Nagar Terminal. Preliminary investigations, which include reviewing CCTV footage, are underway, with authorities examining all potential motives. Rai, who was politically active and involved in land dealings, was targeted near his residence. Despite attempts to seek refuge in a nearby shop after being shot, he succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
