In a blistering attack on Pakistan’s latest diplomatic eccentricity, K. Kavita, head of Telangana Jagriti, suggested the country could next nominate infamous terrorists for the Nobel Peace Prize. This came in response to news that Pakistan’s National Assembly has moved to honor three of its leaders with the global peace award.

During a media interaction in Hyderabad on Friday, Kavita laid bare the irony. “Pakistan demanding Nobels for its leaders is hilarious,” she stated. “They passed a resolution in their assembly. Just before this, they wanted one for Trump. The pattern is clear.”

Escalating her rhetoric, Kavita envisioned a future where Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed and Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Masood Azhar join the nomination list. “It seems inevitable,” she jabbed, pointing to Pakistan’s alleged support for such figures behind major attacks like 26/11 and Pulwama.

On X, her post went viral: “Pakistan, the terrorist haven, wants Nobels for leaders? After Trump, now three for them. Next up: Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar. Absurd!”

On a softer note, Kavita voiced her wishes for Mamata Banerjee’s re-election in West Bengal. “I hope Didi returns to power,” she shared. “As her fan, my duas are with her. I’m not deeply tracking the elections, but victory is what I pray for.”

This episode highlights the ongoing diplomatic sparring between India and Pakistan, with Kavita’s words fueling debates on credibility in international forums. Her commentary blends humor, critique, and solidarity, capturing the pulse of nationalist sentiments.
