Odisha: Woman Gang-Raped at Gopalpur Beach, Friend Restrained

A young woman was allegedly gang-raped by a group of men in Odisha's Ganjam district. The horrific incident occurred at Gopalpur Beach, a popular tourist spot. The woman, a college student, was with a male friend, who was reportedly tied up by the attackers. The survivor has filed a complaint with the Gopalpur police station, and seven individuals have been detained for questioning. Separately, Delhi Police have apprehended three minors in connection with a robbery-turned-murder case where a man was fatally stabbed while resisting a mobile phone snatching. The police recovered the weapon, a dagger, along with the victim's wallet and ID card from the apprehended juveniles. The Delhi incident involved a man who was stabbed to death after being admitted to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital with two deep stab wounds. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. Police investigation is underway.
