Police in Raipur have apprehended a mother-son duo involved in a significant fraud, where they exchanged fake gold bracelets for genuine gold from jewelers. The pair, mimicking the plot of the movie “Bunty Aur Babli,” targeted jewelers in both Raipur and Bilaspur. Authorities seized gold jewelry, cash, and the car used in the crime, with the total value estimated at approximately 8.5 lakh rupees.
