Prime Minister Narendra Modi used his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ platform to spotlight the India AI Impact Summit, praising it as a showcase of India’s remarkable AI talents that captivated global audiences. Held in New Delhi, the summit emerged as a landmark in AI adoption worldwide.
During the 131st episode, PM Modi explained how the program amplifies the nation’s accomplishments. The summit brought together international leaders, business heads, innovators, and startup representatives under one roof at Bharat Mandapam. ‘It has set the stage for future AI applications across the globe,’ he noted.
Reflecting on his participation, the PM described guiding world leaders through the exhibition. Amul’s innovative display stood out, illustrating AI’s role in veterinary care and streamlined dairy management for farmers via AI assistants—a revelation that left attendees impressed.
Equally mesmerizing was the cultural preservation exhibit. Using AI, India is digitizing and modernizing ancient texts like the Sushruta Samhita. The demo progressed from restoring faded manuscript images to transforming them into editable digital text, bridging millennia-old wisdom with contemporary needs.
The Prime Minister highlighted the launch of three indigenous AI models, affirming India’s cutting-edge status. Youth fervor added to the summit’s vibrancy, positioning it as the biggest AI gathering ever. This event not only boosted national pride but also signaled India’s pivotal role in the global AI landscape.
