Senior BJP figure Jay Prakash Dalal made headlines from Bhiwani on April 26, forecasting the end of Mamata Banerjee’s rule in West Bengal. The Haryana leader confidently stated that BJP’s government formation is now inevitable following enthusiastic voter participation in the initial polling phase.
Focusing on the record turnout in 152 constituencies, Dalal interpreted it as a mandate for BJP. He recalled how electoral malpractices like booth capturing sustained left-wing and TMC administrations for 40-50 years, stifling fair votes. ‘This election feels different—transparent and pro-BJP,’ he observed.
Dalal didn’t hold back in slamming TMC’s track record. ‘Bumper historic voting screams BJP is coming, and Didi is going due to poor governance, corruption, and bad policies,’ he said.
Shifting to AAP’s woes, he welcomed the defection of seven Rajya Sabha MPs to BJP. ‘AAP was always rooted in deception—corrupt, family favoritism, and double standards. Kejriwal’s comrades flee one by one; they preach austerity but indulge in luxury,’ Dalal charged.
As phase two approaches on April 29 covering 142 seats, BJP anticipates a sweeping win. Dalal emphasized that early trends signal clear support, with outcomes on May 4 poised to confirm BJP’s dominance and usher in a new era for Bengal.
