In a landmark development for e-governance, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav unveiled the Cyber Registration Office in Bhopal’s Registration Bhawan today. The event highlights the government’s dual focus on developmental growth and administrative reforms emphasizing speed, transparency, and citizen-centric services.
Speaking at the occasion, Yadav detailed how the state is promoting paperless and cashless systems to foster eco-friendly practices and generational accountability. ‘Madhya Pradesh leads the nation by launching cyber registration for more than 75 services like loans, mukhtiyarnama, mining leases, oaths, powers of attorney, and partnership documents,’ he proudly announced.
Building on the foundations of Sampada 1.0 and 2.0 portals, this cyber facility represents a quantum leap in tech-enabled governance. A key announcement was the shift to paperless registration for all transfer deeds involving government bodies and enterprises.
For housing board and development authority transfers, physical visits to offices are now obsolete. Video KYC and other verifications will occur through video calls, drastically cutting down on time and costs for the public. CM Yadav encouraged officials to leverage this system for competitive efficiency in meeting fiscal goals.
Finance Minister Jagdish Devda noted the integration of Sampada 2.0 software last year for seamless e-stamping and registrations. This comprehensive digital overhaul promises to eliminate red tape, enhance security against fraud, and empower citizens with doorstep services. Madhya Pradesh is setting a benchmark for other states in digital India.
