Kerala Celebrates Onam with Record-Breaking Alcohol Consumption

The state of Kerala witnessed exuberant celebrations for the Onam festival on August 26th. During the ten-day festivities, the populace consumed alcohol worth over 800 crore rupees. The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC) reported sales of 826.38 crore rupees from its retail outlets.
