Kamal Nath Urges Aid for MP Farmers Duped in Wheat Procurement Scam

Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath has raised serious concerns over a cyber fraud affecting wheat farmers in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted how payments for government wheat purchases in Shivpuri district never reached the intended farmers and instead landed in dubious accounts, leaving many cultivators in distress. He also criticized the BJP administration for slashing the number of beneficiaries under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme by over three lakh in a single year, dropping from 86.49 lakh to 83.01 lakh. Kamal Nath demanded swift compensation for victims and called for the immediate release of all pending farmer dues, emphasizing that a comprehensive investigation is essential to restore trust.
