Ranchi Student Dies by Suicide: Police Investigate

A 21-year-old student, identified as Swati Kumari, who arrived in Ranchi, Jharkhand from Sasaram, Bihar on October 3rd, was found dead in her rented room in the Hatia area under the Jagannathpur police station on October 5th. The student, who was pursuing a BBA degree at a private university in Ranchi, took her own life. The landlord immediately informed the Jagannathpur police. Upon arrival, the police and an FSL team secured the body and sent it to RIMS hospital for a post-mortem examination. The entire room was examined, but no suicide note has been recovered. The primary question is why the student would take such a drastic step just two days after returning from her home in Sasaram, Bihar.

Police are investigating the case from multiple angles. The police have seized the victim's phone to examine call details.
