District authorities in Ranchi are accelerating preparations for President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming two-day visit. In a crucial meeting held at the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri oversaw a comprehensive review of the arrangements.
The discussions centered around security measures, traffic management, welcoming protocols, and preparations at the designated venues. Deputy Commissioner Bhajantri issued clear directives to all departments, emphasizing the need to ensure a flawless and dignified visit for the President. He reviewed critical aspects such as cleanliness, healthcare services, water supply, sanitation, parking, fire safety, and route security, instructing the relevant departments to complete their tasks on schedule. The police administration has been instructed to maintain heightened vigilance.
The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and sensitivity, stressing that the progress of the preparations would be regularly assessed and closely monitored.
Present at the meeting were Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi, Chandan Kumar Sinha; Additional District Magistrate Rajeshwarnath Alok; Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar; Traffic Superintendent of Police Kailash Karmali; Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar; District Public Relations Officer Urvashi Pandey, and other departmental officials.
