The Governor of Jharkhand, along with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and BJP State President Babulal Marandi, have extended their warm wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Karma Puja, a nature-worshipping festival. The Governor, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, conveyed his greetings via social media, highlighting the festival’s significance in fostering brotherhood and sisterhood, as well as promoting environmental conservation. He expressed his hope that the festival would bring health, happiness, and prosperity to everyone’s lives.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren also extended his congratulations, emphasizing the festival’s importance as a symbol of rich culture and lifestyle, as well as the deep-rooted bond between siblings, social harmony, and reverence for nature. The Chief Minister highlighted the connection between life and the natural world, including water, forests, soil, and animals. He encouraged everyone to preserve their traditions, empower society, and protect the environment, wishing for a life filled with peace, prosperity, and happiness.
Babulal Marandi, the BJP State President and Leader of the Opposition, also sent his best wishes, describing Karma Puja as a representation of tribal culture, traditions, and their profound connection with nature. He urged everyone to be inspired by the tribal way of life and their love for nature, to strengthen the commitment to environmental protection and social harmony. Marandi prayed for the festival to bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all.
