JeM Launches Online Jihad Training for Women

The Pakistan-based terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has initiated an online training program titled 'Tufat al-Muminat' with the explicit aim of recruiting women and generating funds for its newly formed female wing, 'Jamat ul-Muminat'. This initiative, set to commence on November 8, is designed to bolster the JeM's operational capacity by engaging women in their activities. Documents indicate that family members and relatives of prominent Jaish leaders, including the group's chief Masood Azhar, will be at the forefront of this training. Specifically, Azhar's sisters, Sadiya Azhar and Samaira Azhar, are slated to deliver daily 40-minute sessions focusing on the 'duties from the perspectives of jihad, religion and Islam' for potential recruits. This move highlights a strategic shift for the group, seeking to expand its reach and operational avenues through online recruitment, particularly targeting women who may face societal restrictions on independent movement.
