Traffic woes in Noida could soon ease with rapid progress on a key elevated road initiative. From the Mahamaya Flyover vicinity to Sector-94, earth-testing and topographic surveys are underway to pave the way for construction.
The Noida Authority has entrusted IIT Roorkee with the DPR preparation. GM SP Singh revealed that soil tests are determining the land’s load-bearing strength, critical for engineering a robust elevated structure.
In just one week, IIT is set to deliver the DPR. The topography survey meticulously documents contours, gradients, trees, water sources, and nearby infrastructure, providing a blueprint for precise planning.
This 1.5-km stretch, budgeted at Rs 150 crore, will serve as a vital link between Chillha Elevated and Sector-94. Featuring a cloverleaf interchange for uninterrupted traffic and potential extension to Pushta Elevated pending NOC, the road will transform regional connectivity.
Residents can look forward to smoother journeys and reduced congestion, marking a significant step in Noida’s infrastructure evolution.
